We have entered a new element. The wood element embodies new beginnings and growth. In spring nature wakes up and everything starts to sprout. Those who have established good roots over the winter can now grow and expand nicely.

On the daily cycle, the wood element represents the morning. The color ascribed to the wood element is green and the emotions are rage and anger.

While the focus is on retreat in winter, in spring we focus on awakening and expanding. We will stretch a lot over the next few weeks to grow taller and create new space in our bodies.

The yin meridian is the liver and the yang meridian is the gallbladder. When both are balanced, you are: open to new challenges, flexible, determined without egoism, and full of zest for action to implement new visions and ideas.
